Update

I’ve been a little lax on my writing, I often wonder what everyone would like to hear about. You can only repeat the same thing so many times, right? It was a pleasure running into someone this afternoon. I love hearing from readers who have feedback, it gives me new energy and drive.

As a woman, wife, and mom, there are so many roles I play, it can get very demanding. I’m a better multitask-er then my other half (sorry honey, it’s true) and I tend to add more to my plate every day. Trying to please everyone around you can get stressful and I hold myself to high standards. I’m committing to focusing on myself this week – not meaning the house won’t be clean and the kids won’t be fed. I’m going to focus on my goals daily, and do something every day to get closer.

 

It’s balls to the walls!

 

Here’s an update on 21 Day Fix: I’m not so sure. While I’ve utilized my “phone a friend” a few times – (haha Jess), I really don’t know what to think yet. It all seems confusing and overwhelming. I’m not 100% sold, but I’m not going to let it stress me out. I’ve done this on my own before and have been very successful, 60 pounds’ worth!

But, can’t quit before I even start that’s silly.  So I prepped tonight.

The egg cups made things a little easier last week and the kids requested them again anyway. I made theirs the same, but changed mine up.  I made them with sautéed onions, mushrooms, spinach, and goat cheese.

I also prepped veggies for the week. Ready to go for my shrimp scampi later in the week, and veggie wraps for lunch.

And….one meal completely prepped, steak fajitas.  They are marinating as we speak.  That’ll help out my week for sure.
