If you had asked me two years ago who I would be surrounded by today, I wouldn’t have believed you.
The toughest part was going through the “being alone” part. Being left totally alone to sit still in the silence…and find myself again.
If you caught the blog last week – I talked about getting through this and finding light on the other side. If you haven’t read it, you can find it here.
I’ve said it many times before and I’ll repeat it again – you are compromised by the five people you surround yourself with. Those people have the biggest impact on you.
They should be supporting you, your mission, and celebrating your successes – if they aren’t maybe, it’s time to reevaluate.
Life is a journey of continuous growth and self-discovery. To evolve into the best version of yourself, it’s essential to focus on creating a future that aligns with your aspirations rather than clinging to the past. Surrounding yourself with the right people and raising your vibration are crucial steps in this transformative process.
To sum it up – you need to be with people that fit your future, not your past.
Personal growth often requires making difficult decisions about who remains in your life. Setting boundaries with individuals who no longer support your highest good is crucial. It’s okay to let go of relationships that don’t align with your future aspirations. Creating space for new, supportive connections allows you to focus on your own growth and development.
I have spent the last several weeks with a business client, and it feels so good. I love their energy and support. I love that he supports the work I am doing, and is appreciative of my contribution.
I love the fact that I’m doing good work, and I’m feeling accomplished every day. This is something I wasn’t feeling when I made my decision to leave my full-time job in January of 2023. The space that I am in reflects letting go of those relationships that weren’t supporting me, but I had such a hard time letting go of all it.
To attract the right people into your life, you first need to define what your future looks like. What are your dreams, values, and goals? Your vision will act as a compass, guiding you toward connections that share similar aspirations. Take time to envision where you want to be in the next five or ten years, and use this vision to shape your relationships and interactions.
Expand your network by seeking out communities, groups, or individuals that reflect your goals and values. Whether through joining new clubs, attending workshops, or participating in online forums, putting yourself in environments that resonate with your future self will help you build meaningful and supportive relationships. Every new interaction is an opportunity for growth.
Growth is a continual process, and it’s important to approach it with patience and self-compassion. Acknowledge your progress and celebrate the steps you’re taking toward becoming your best self. Embrace the journey, knowing that each step forward brings you closer to your future aspirations.
By focusing on these steps, you’ll be well on your way to surrounding yourself with the right people and raising your vibration, ultimately creating a life that reflects your highest potential.
If I look back, I wish I hadn’t tried holding on so long, maybe it wouldn’t have taken me so long to get here – so that’s my advice to you. Let go. Create your vision. Focus on your future.
Sending you so much love!
Xo,
Laura
